𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐣𝐨 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐅) provides financial support to international students who are enrolled in or will enroll in 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐬.

🎓 Master’s & PhD Students: Support for students pursuing Master’s or Doctoral degrees in Japanese graduate schools.

🌎 Open to International Students: Applicants must be non-Japanese citizens. All nationalities are welcome to apply.

📚 All Academic Disciplines: The scholarship is available for all fields of study.

💴 Monthly Stipend: A stipend is provided according to the degree and study period, up to ¥230,000 per month.

✈️ Conference Support: Financial support is available for international conference participation, subject to the Foundation’s rules.

📝 Direct Application: Applicants apply directly to the Honjo International Scholarship Foundation. No university nomination is required.
