IndonesiaOn 21 June 2026, the Artistic Manifestation Program 2026 continued with its fourth-week activities at Container Tais, featuring an educational and interactive activity that provided participants with the opportunity to learn, discuss, and actively take part in the development of the arts sector, especially in the field of music.
Music Sector Workshop in Timor-Leste
In this activity, a workshop on the Music Sector in Timor-Leste was conducted, presented by Master Kay Limak as the speaker and Jovi Baptista as the moderator.
During the session, discussions focused on public policies, challenges, and progress in the music sector within the current context of Timor-Leste, as well as future perspectives. This activity served as an important space for exchanging ideas, increasing knowledge, and strengthening understanding of the development of the national music industry.
Container Tais Music Challenge
In addition to the workshop, the Container Tais Music Challenge was also held, organized and conducted by The Kraken band. This activity provided participants with the opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge in music through an interactive and creative competition.
Winners of the Container Tais Music Challenge will receive a T-shirt from the Artistic Manifestation Program 2026 as a special prize. The prize awarding will take place during the Closing Ceremony of the Artistic Manifestation Program 2026, scheduled for 04 July 2027.
The Artistic Manifestation Program 2026 continues to serve as a platform that promotes arts education, creativity, and community participation, thereby contributing to the development of arts and culture in Timor-Leste.
The implementation of this program takes place at Container Tais with the support of the Secretariat of State for Arts and Culture (SEAK-MJDAK), through DNPAK, and is implemented by the ArtEmpreender Association in partnership with the Institute of Business (IOB TL) and NAFEX ART.
