FIRST DAY OF TRAINING FOR SELECTED SUDIKU CANDIDATES ON PROGRAM PREPARATION

Dili, 11 August 2026 – Selected candidates for the SUDIKU Program participated in the first day of training, held at Container Tais.

The objective of the training was to provide candidates with a better understanding and guidance on the SUDIKU Program, including preparation for the implementation of activities that will take place from September to October.

The training was facilitated by the Coordinator of IDEIA Volunteers, Ana Maria de Fátima, who provided explanations about the objectives, plan, and schedule of the SUDIKU Program, with particular focus on the preparation of cultural rehearsals to be conducted during August and September.

In addition, the training addressed the needs and preparations that artists should consider before carrying out an artistic performance, enabling them to prepare the necessary technical and artistic requirements according to each activity.

The candidates also received an introduction to the Timor Creative Hub website, particularly regarding its usefulness and the opportunities it provides for artists in the creative and cultural sectors.

The training also included an interview session with the candidates regarding the SUDIKU Program, as part of the process to assess their understanding, preparation, and availability to participate in the implementation of the program.

The first day of training served as an important step in preparing the candidates with the necessary knowledge and understanding before the SUDIKU Program enters its implementation phase, in accordance with the prepared plan.

The SUDIKU Program receives strong support from GASC and is implemented by Associação ArtEmpreender and IDEIA Volunteers at Container Tais, in partnership with NafexArt, IOB TL, Clube Empreendedor, Rádio Liberdade Dili, and Mitramor.
